Student Council
Student Council at Clay Road is about growing leadership through service. True servant leaders reflect a godly attitude when initiating change and motivating teams. CRBS Student Council meet once per week to discuss various service projects, such as Growing Change and the annual Food Bank project. The students are in charge of meetings and projects, and teacher-advisors offer input as needed.
Leaders are middle school students, selected by vote of fellow middle school students. Candidates create flyers and write and deliver speeches during the election process.
Other responsibilities of Student Council members can include serving as tutors, guest readers and providing lunch assistance to young students.
